A young lady that I worked with is expecting her first baby in September. I always enjoy making for and gifting to a new baby. Mrs & Mr. B are having a boy. I have been working on a gift for Baby B; I am making a hat, crib blanket and booties. This is the first of 3 posts. Stay tuned for an up-coming blanket pattern to match this adorable hat!
I am designing the hat to fit a 3/6 month old instead of a newborn. It will be much to warm for a heavy hat in September. I wanted to make sure that Baby B got some use out of it before he out grows it! The little ones grow so fast!
This hat is made with Red Heart Yarns. The pattern is easy to make and written in American Crochet terms.
