Materials:
1 skein Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable, this pattern uses approximately 2 oz
H/8/5 mm hook
Tapestry needle for seaming
Scissors or snips
Stitches and Abbreviations Used:
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
2 dcCL - 2 double crochet cluster, to make (Yo, insert hook in indicated st or ch, bring up loop, yo take 2 loops off hook) twice in the same stitch, yo take all 3 loops off hook.
dc - double crochet
To begin, with H hook chain 102.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, *ch 2, skip 1 ch, 2dcCL in next ch, skip 1 ch, sc in the next ch, repeat from * across, turn.
Row 2: Ch 5 (counts as dc, ch 2), skip next ch 2 space, sc in 2dcCL, *ch 5, skip next 2 ch 2 spaces, sc in next 2dcCL; repeat from * across to within last ch 2 space, ch2, skip next ch 2 space, dc in last sc, turn.
Row 3: Ch1, sc in first dc, ch 2, *2dcCL in next sc, ch 2**, sc in next ch 5 loop, ch 2; repeat from * across, ending last repeat at **, sc in 3rd ch of turning chain.
Repeat rows 2 & 3 for pattern. Work in pattern until piece measures 11 inches, ending with row 2. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for seaming. Seam up the back of your Light & Lacey cowl and gift or wear it!!
