This post contains affiliate links I maybe compensated for if you purchase through my links.
Today I would like to share with you some of the patterns that I have made. Some of these are free patterns, some of them are paid patterns. I purchased them from a website or a pattern booklet at a big box store such as Wally World (walmart) or K-Mart. The paid patterns I am creating affiliate links for, that way if you wish to make them you will be able to shop for them here. If you purchase these patterns through my link I will be compensated by Leisure Arts.
First up is a baby afghan that I made as a gift. Actually I have made several of them and they are just beautiful. The first pic is a Leisure Arts pic. The other three are my own. Only the first pic contains a link to the pattern.
TheVery Victorian Baby Afghan is a Leisure Arts pattern. I came across it in a pattern booklet I purchased years ago. The good news is you don't have to purchase the booklet for just this pattern. Leisure Arts sells it on their site as an instant download. This pattern make a beautiful heirloom quality blanket to be treasured by all who receive it. I would rate this pattern as intermediate.
Next up is another Leisure Arts pattern. This one is called Timeless Treasure Baby Afghan. Again I have created an affiliate link for your convenience in the first pic. The Timeless Treasure was much easier to work up than the Very Victorian. You do have to follow a group of pattern rows in order to get the desired diamonds with a popcorn in the center. I have found that by hi-lighting each row in a different color I was able to keep track of my pattern rows better. This pattern works up quickly in worsted weight yarn and makes a beautiful shower gift. I would rate this pattern for beginners.
The Baby Ripples Afghan by Leisure Arts is the last of the baby afghans that I have made from LA patterns. These afghans have all been gifted to babies in my family or the babies of friends. This last one I am most proud of! It took me some time to figure out the pattern but the end result was worth all of the frustration and frogging that I encountered during the making of it. I cannot stress enough hi-lite your pattern rows to keep track. Again I have created an affiliate link for this pattern. The link will take you to the Leisure Arts page that the pattern is sold on. I would rate this pattern as intermediate.
