Today I would like to introduce to you my friend and fellow blogger/designer Corina of Stitch11. When I first discovered the on-line crochet community Corina was one of the first people that I came in contact with.
Researching a photo prop for my youngest grandson (who is 3 tomorrow!) I came across Stitch11’s Turtle Love set. Isn’t it adorable? This pattern comes not only with a very clear and concise written pattern but a photo tutorial for putting the shell together in one continuous round without having oodles of ends to weave in.
Getting to know Corina has been such a blessing to me. While home alone (most of the time) and recovering from an illness; Corina became a connection to others that crochet, design and share their work and patterns on-line. Corina inspired me to take my crochet to the next level, taught me how to properly share links to the patterns I found on-line and introduced me to the on-line crochet community. She truly is a ray of sunshine that has brightened my world.
Talented, kind and caring Corina has enriched my life. Always willing to help and answer the many questions that I had; God sent her into my life when I needed it most.
Once I had found her site I discovered two of her sun hat patterns. Tired of making just plain ole beanie hats, I was excited to make my little granddaughters these adorable hats. The first hat I made was for my little granddaughter Jasmine, the pattern is called Peach Happy Sun Hat this little hat is perfect to keep the hot sun off her little nose, ears and neck.
I found Stitch11’s Sunshine Sara pattern perfect for my oldest granddaughter Brooklyn.
A stay at home Mum to an adorable little girl you will find that much of her work is geared towards children. Corina's patterns are a great resource to have on hand for all of your holiday crochet. Inspired by a darling wee one, you can see the love and care that go into her work.
I have had the good fortune of testing for Corina. I tested her “Ella Request Toddler Dress” and the Toddler Leg Warmers to match. Corina has also been kind enough to test a pattern for me and help me with the editing of said pattern. Being such a newbie to the design world, her advice and kindness are invaluable to me.
You can find Corina across the social media platform. I am including links to her blog, Stitch11, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Ravelry and Craftsy pattern shop.
To find out more about Corina and the incredible work she does visit her at Stitch11, she will be more than happy you have come by for a visit! Her blog isn’t just about crochet, she has pattern reviews, recipes, kitchen crochet and more. Stop in and see for yourself the many patterns, reviews and recipes she has available; don’t forget to leave her a kind word or two. The kindness of others lifts us up in more ways than we know.
I hope you have enjoyed meeting Corina and go and visit her at Stitch11.
