Measurements/Gauge: 22.25 inches wide by 27 inches long 8 sts by 4 rows = 2 inches
Stitches & Abbreviations: FPdc (front post double crochet) to make; yo, insert hook from front to back to front again around the post of indicated stitch, yo, draw yarn through, (yo, draw through 2 loops on hook) twice FPdc made Dc (double crochet) Sk (skip) st/s (stitch/es) Ch (chain) Yo (yarn over) Ws (wrong side) Rs (right side)
Notes: This stitch pattern uses multiples of 9 + 3. This pattern is written in American crochet terms and rated advanced beginner. I am including the count for a twin sized afghan. For a twin size you will need 3 10 oz skeins of Supersaver Ombre
To begin: for a "pack n play" sized blanket, ch 93 for twin sized blanket ch 147
Row 1: (ws) dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next ch, *ch 1, sk next ch, dc in next 2 ch, ch 1, sk next ch, dc in next 5 ch; repeat from * across, ending with dc in last 3 ch. Turn
Row 2: Ch 3, (counts as dc) sk 1st dc, dc in next 2 dc, *ch 1, sk next dc, dc in next dc,working in front of last dc made, FPdc around the post of last skipped dc, (crossed dc made), ch 1, sk next ch 1 space**, dc in next 5 dc, repeat from * across, ending last repeat at **, dc in next 2 dc, dc in 3rd ch of turning ch. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), sk 1st dc, dc in next 2 dc, *ch 1, sk next ch 1 space, dc in next 2 dc, ch 1, skip next ch 1 space**, dc in next 5 dc; repeat from * across, ending last repeat at **, dc in next 2 dc, dc in 3rd ch of turning ch. Turn.
