PDFI have created this flower to go with Flowers by the Seaside. I have a flower pattern linked, but it is not mine. I wanted to have a flower I could call my own to go with my original design. Whether you choose to use this flower pattern or the one I have linked is up to you.

Picot Flower ~
Materials:
H/5 mm hook
Color A - small amount of Peaches and Creme Cotton
Color B - small amount of Peaches and Creme Cotton
Tapestry needle
Techniques used
Magic Ring - MR
Chain - ch
Single crochet - sc
Double crochet - dc
Triple crochet - tc
Slip stitch - ss
Picot- to make picot, (chain 3, slip stitch in 3rd chaiin from hook) picot made
To Begin w/Color A - Magic Ring (or ch 4 & join to form ring)
Round 1: Ch 4, sc in ring, *ch 4, sc repeat from * 3 times more, ending with sc. (5 ch 4 loops, 5 sc) join with ss in first ch 4 loop
Petal round 2: ch 2 (counts as dc) dc 2, picot, dc 3,*ss in sc, dc 3, picot, dc 3 in next loop, repeat from * around, join with ss in fist sc of previous round. Fasten off
Round 3: With color B, join with sc around sc of previous round. ch 5, *sc around next sc, ch 5, repeat from * around, (5 ch 5 loops, 5 sc) join w/ss in first ch 5 loop
Petal round 4: ch 3 (counts as tr) 3 tr, picot, 4 tr in same loop, *ss in sc, 4 tr, picot, 4 tr in next loop, repeat from * around, join with ss in first sc. fasten off. Pull petals to back of flower. Weave in ends. Attach to hat or other item you are creating.
