Picot Edging for Shawls and Blankets

I used this easy picot edging for the Simple V-Stitch Shawl.  You can find the free pattern under the Shawls and Wraps tab above.  It is easy to do and makes a really nice finished edge.

Stitches and Abbreviations Used:
sc - single crochet
ch - chain
ss - slip stitch
picot - to make, ch 3, slip stitch in 3rd chain from hook

There are several variations of the picot.  This one that I used is a single crochet picot.
