Materials:
1/2  skein Lion Brand Scarfie or any #5 bulky weight yarn.
K/10.5/6.5 mm hook
Tapestry needle

Stitches and Abbreviations:
(mr) magic ring
(fpdc) front post double crochet
(fptc) front post triple crochet
(ss) slip stitch
(ch) chain
(dc) double crochet
(st(s) stitch/es
This pattern is written in American Crochet Terminology


To begin:
Make mr, ch 2, 12 dc in ring.  Join w/ss in first dc, ch 2
Rnd 2:  2 fpdc around post of each dc around, join, ch 2 (24 fpdc)
Rnd 3:  *2 fpdc around post of first st, fpdc around post on next st, rep from * around, join, ch 2.  (36 fpdc)
Rnd 4:  *2 fpdc around first st, fpdc around post of next 2 sts, repeat from * around, join, ch 2.  (48 fpdc)
Rnd 5:  *2 fpdc around first st, fpdc around post of next 3 sts, repeat from * around, join, ch 2. (60 fpdc)
Rnds 6 - 9:  fpdc around post of each st around, join ch 2.
Rnd 10:  fpdc around post of each st around, join ch 3.
Rnds 11-12: *skip 1 st, fptc around post of next st, fptc around post of skipped st, repeat from * around, join, ch 3.
Rnd 13: *skip 1, st, fptc around post of next st, fptc around post of skipped st, repeat from * around, join ch 2.
Rnds 14 - 18:  Repeat rnds 6-10 at end of round 18 ch 3.
Rnds 19 - 20: Repeat rounds 11 & 13, at end of round 20 ch 2.
Rnds 21 - 22: Repeat round 6, fasten off, weave in ends.
