I originally planned on making it out of African Flower Motifs and joining with a Celtic Lace join. That afghan has been scrapped!! The motifs weren't lining up correctly and I was becoming more and more frustrated with how it looked. Well, I have started another blanket, this one created with traditional Granny Squares. I will be joining them with a tight braid join. You can find more information about this join method HERE _ Moogly has a great tutorial and explains everything very well.
