This post contains affiliate marketing links. ![]() For my next project, the Designer's Potpourri Crochet-A-Long I have chosen Cascade Yarns Ultra Pima Fine 100% Cotton Yarn. This is a sport weight yarn that is just a dream to work with and it's on sale over at Craftsy. If you wish to shop for this yarn there is a link to Craftsy's product page in the picture to the left. I can't reveal just what the project is just yet but I really think that everyone will like it and have fun making it. I know that this material isn't readily available in everyone's stash so I am including links to help you find an appropriate substitute. Marie, the owner/blogger/designer behind the Underground Crafter has a great post on yarn substitution. You can find her article <here.> Marie has included links in her post to help you find different methods of substituting different yarns and what to look out for while doing so. You can also find out more about substituting yarns in Craftsy's Class, "Yarn Substitution Made Easy." Don't have the time or money for a Craftsy class? Get more information over at Ravelry by clicking on the "yarn ideas" tab on the pattern's page. This will help you find the right yarn for the project you are interested in making. Here are some of the yarns that I have found for you that would be a suitable substitution for the Cascade Ultra Pima that I have used for this Crochet A-Long project. Caron has an acrylic sport weight yarn called Simply Soft Light that would be suitable and affordable for this project. This yarn comes in 16 different colors; they have something for everyone. I have included a link to their product page for your convenience. Affiliate Link ~
