This hat is done in Caron Simply Soft. A #4 weight worsted yarn. The colorway that I used is called Pink/Rose Camouflage. The stitch I used is Front Post Double Crochet - FPdc. If you are not familiar with this stitch, I explain how to make it below. This stitch gives the hat quite a bit of stretch & will fit a child or an adult. I edged the hat with a simple Single Crochet Picot; I will explain how to do this below also.
The flower embellishment is optional. I made my hat so that the flower is removable for those that don't like the added frill. You can find the pattern for this Ruffled Flower Embellishment here. You can make this little flower in less than 15 minutes & is a great way to use up leftovers. Front Post Double Crochet Hat

Love the pattern. Hat is so nice and warm! I did add 4 rows to my hat to have a little more ear coverage. Fun to make and required little concentration to make. Thanks!
