Holiday Dishcloth

 I made this dishcloth up last night.  It was easy to make and uses Peaches 'n Creme 100% cotton in the Yuletide colorway.   You can use the color of your choice. 

Materials:
Peaches 'n Creme Cotton worsted weight #4
1 56.7 g/2 oz ball
I hook
Tapestry needle

Stitches and Abbreviations Used:
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
sk - skip

To begin:
With I hook, ch 26
Row 1 -  make 2 sc in 4th ch from hook, *sk next sc, 2 sc in next ch, repeat from * across. Ch 2, turn.  (24 sc)
Row 2 -  sk 1st sc, 2 sc in next stitch, *sk next sc, 2 sc in next st.; repeat from * across, ch 2, turn (24 sc)
Rows 3 - 28  Repeat row 2 for pattern. 

My dishcloth measures 6.5 by 7.75 inches.  When working your rows you will notice that the edges aren't straight.  This stitch pattern makes a very nice rounded edge to the ends of your rows.  Make one for yourself or to give as gifts.
