2016 was a busy year for me here at Home made hats. I was a contributor to the Designer's Potpourri Crochet A-Long, bringing group members 6 new unpublished patterns; I submitted several patterns to All Free Crochet and some of them were picked up by them. Here are the most clicked patterns by Home made hats in 2016.
#1. The first pattern is the 8 inch Berry Stitch Washcloth/Afghan Block. I created this in 2015, and I have had an overwhelming response to it. I used a #4 weight cotton for my block. It works up nicely in acrylic as well. You can find the pattern here. Berry Stitch Washcloth
#2. The second most clicked is myQuick and Easy Men's hat. Done in a #6 bulky weight yarn, this pattern uses one skein and works up in about an hour. I was so excited to find that this pattern had been picked up by All Free Crochet!!
#3. The Calypso Slouchie ~ I was sent Red Heart's Mix~ol~ogy to review. This yarn comes in a bulky roving, and a bulky plied style. The hat uses one skein of the roving style.
#4. One for the Guys is done in front post double crochet, making this hat stylish and warm. Done in Red Heart's Super Saver this hat is economical to make and the color combinations you can use are endless.
#5. Reflection's Fingerless Gloves ~ Done in Red Heart's Reflections bulky yarn, this pattern also has a matching cowl.
#6. Rose Camo Skinny Scarf ~ Done with Carons Simply Soft Rose Camo, this light weight scarf is perfect as an accessory or as a winter scarf.
#7. Berries and Bow Ladies Hat ~ I designed this hat for a lady in the crochet along group. She didn't have little ones to crochet for so I adapted the baby hat into an adult hat!!
#8. Light and Lacy Cowl ~ Takes half a skein of Red Hearts Unforgettable.
#9. Berry and Bow Baby Hat ~ Designed for the Designer's Potpourri Crochet-A-Long, this baby hat is done with the Berry Stitch. Using just a small amount of yarn, it is a perfect afternoon project for the littles in your life. I used Red Heart Super Saver for my hat.
#10. Soft Waves Baby Bonnet ~ A traditionally styled bonnet done with Red Heart's Baby Hugs Light; this pattern is one of 3 designed for the Designer's Potpourri Crochet-A-Long
#11. Crochet-A-Long Table Runner ~ Done in Cascade Ultra Pima Cotton, I designed this for the Designer's Potpourri Crochet-A-Long. Done in green for the Month of March
