Red Heart Ombre Yarn Review
Recently I was sent a 10 oz skein of Red Heart Yarns new Super Saver Ombre to use and review!! I just adore it, the colorway I was sent is Deep Teal, one of my favorite colors. It is oh so pretty; I am in love with this yarn!! I love the way the color changes so gradually, they just melt into one another! It is no wonder that Red Heart is America's favorite yarn. Super Saver is a stash staple for many crafters, it is very affordable, has no dye lot, is machine wash and dryable and comes in over 100 different colors!!!
I played around with this yarn for awhile, trying different stitch patterns. I finally decided (since I only had one 10 oz skein) to re-make my Simple V-Stitch Shawl. I used a K hook and changed the edging up a bit. I am really happy I decided on this shawl as it really shows off the beauty of this yarn. This beautiful yarn comes in 10 different colorways, I have seen many projects worked up in the different colors and have loved everyone!!
I am including a few more pictures for you below and will be re-posting the pattern with the new edging up-dates. I added a picot edge to the neck of the shawl and did a crab stitch around the outside edge.
I want to thank Red Heart for sending me this yarn. I am sure anyone who uses it is going to love it as much as I do!!
