Today I am going to give you a free pattern for a "shaving cloth". I have two sons; they are twins. Monday, December 7th is their birthday. They will be 32 years old. Where does the time go?
I also have 5 grandsons. I am always on the look out for men/boys crochet. There isn't as much for men as there is for women. As a child I used to watch my father shave. He would fill the sink with steaming hot water, lather up his shaving brush and shave with a double edged razor. When he was done he always had a fresh clean wash cloth to wipe up the lather from his face and neck. My Dad has been gone now for 35 years; I miss him everyday. Quite some time ago my Mum gave me the razors that my Dad used to use. I tucked them away never using them. I have been looking in the stores for a shaving mug and soap and the brushes that my Dad used to use. I have finally found them on Amazon at a fairly reasonable price. I dug out the razors and ordered the shaving kits for my boys. I think that they will appreciate having their Grandfather's razors even though he didn't live long enough to ever meet his grandchildren. I got out some Peaches 'n Creme cotton and designed this shaving cloth to go with the shaving kit. Affiliate Link ~ by making a purchase through this link I may be compensated. As always, thank you for your continued support. ![]()
