Today we begin September's project. Last week I posted the materials that you will need. So, if you are ready to begin, the pattern is as follows.

This shawl is worked from the point up. This pattern is written in American Crochet Terms and is rated as "easy".
Designer notes: you will be working in the spaces between the v-sts of the previous row, not in the v-sts

Double Crochet - dc
Single Crochet - sc
Chain - ch
Turning chain - tc
Magic Ring - mr
To begin: make mr, ch 4 (counts as dc, ch 1 here and through out) dc in ring. Pull ring tight. If you do not know the magic ring method you can ch 4 and dc in first chain made. Turn, ch 4.
Row 2 - dc in first dc, v-st in 3rd ch of tc. Turn ch 4
Row 3 - dc in first dc, skip 1 dc, v-st in next space, v- st in 3rd ch of tc. Turn, ch 4.
