Here is the final pattern of the Soft Waves Baby set. This little bonnet is sized to fit a 3/6 month old baby. I would like to thank Red Heart Yarns for making this project possible.

Materials
Small amount Red Heart Baby Hugs Light I used Sprout and Sunny H hook Tapestry needle Scissors or snips The pattern is first worked in rounds and changes to rows. Written in American Crochet Terms and rated Beginner. Stitches and Abbreviations Used: Mr - Magic Ring Dc - double crochet Ch - chain Sc - single crochet Sk - skip st(s) -stitch(es) Ss - slip stitch mc - main color cc - contrast color Round 1: make mr; ch 2, 12 dc in ring; join with ss in 1st dc. (12 dc) If you don’t know the mr method, you can ch 3, 12 dc in 3rd ch from hook. Round 2: ch 2, 2 dc in same st as join and each st around; join with ss to 1st dc (24 dc) Round 3: ch 2, 2 dc in same st as join, dc in next st, *2 dc in next st, dc in next, rep from * around, join with ss to 1st dc. (36 dc) Round 4: ch 2, 2 dc in same st as join, dc in next 2 sts, * 2 dc in next st, dc in next 2 sts, rep from * around. Join with ss to 1st dc. (48 dc) From this point on you will be working in rows. Row 1: ch 3, 2 dc in 1st st, *dc in next 4 sts, sk 2 sts, dc next 4 sts, 3 dc in next st, rep from * 3 times, ending with 2 dc in last st; leaving 4 sts of previous round unworked. Turn. (44 dc) Rows 2 - 7: Repeat row 1; changing to cc at end of row 2, work 2 rows of cc, 2 rows of mc, 1 row of cc. At end of row 7 change to mc. Final finishing round: sc in each st across, ch 35, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch up to corner (34 sc). Sc, ch 1 in ends of rows to center 4 unworked sts, sc in next 4 sts, *ch 1, sc, rep from * in ends of remaining rows to next corner, ch 35, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch up (34 sc) join with ss, fasten off.
