1- 3.5 oz skein of Loops & Threads Impeccable #4 weight yarn. I used Tropical Storm for this sample J/10/6 mm hook Tapestry needle for weaving in ends Stitches and Abbreviations: (dc) Double crochet (sk) Skip (ch) Chain (rep) Repeat (sc) Single crochet (tc) Turning chain Technique: Regular Crochet Gauge: Approximately 4 rows by 4 stitches dc & wrap around = 2 inches. My scarf measures 7.5” wide by 40” long. This pattern is written in American Crochet Terms and is Easy to make. In this pattern I used wrap around stitches. You will be working a set of dc around the post of a stitch previously made. This stitch pattern uses multiples of 8 + 5. To begin, with J hook ch 165
Row 1: dc in the 4th ch from hook, dc in next ch, *sk 2 ch, dc in next ch, ch 3, 3 dc around post of last dc made, sk 2 ch, dc in next 3 ch, rep from * across, turn. Row 2: ch 3, (counts dc), sk first dc, dc in next 2 dc, *ch 2, sc in ch 3 loop, ch 2, sk next dc, dc in next 3 dc, rep from * across, ending with last dc in 3rd ch of tc, turn. Row 3: ch 3 (counts as dc), sk first dc, dc in next 2 dc, *sk ch 2 space, dc in next sc, ch 3, 3 dc around post of last dc made, sk next ch 2 space, dc in next 3 dc, rep from * across, ending with last dc in 3rd ch of tc.
